When we first read the testimonials on the CTA website, we thought they must have been written by the school. We thought the comments were too good to be true. Our family was truly in a dark place with our daughter who had previously been very high achieving; but, for reasons we could not understand was now failing and rarely attending school. What we discovered was the testimonials were real! CTA successfully got our daughter through high school. They encouraged her to apply for college and she was accepted. She is now attending a major university. The staff truly motivated our daughter when no one else could. True, the fantastic outdoor adventures helped but it was the dedicated staff as role models and mentors that pulled it all together.

Each and every interaction with the staff continued to impress us more and more. The commitment to students truly starts at the top with Dan Coey, and permeates throughout the entire staff. We could not believe the dedication of Dan and his family who treated the kids as their own.

The event that truly blew us away was the graduation. Not only was the scenery gorgeous, but the words shared by the students themselves truly showed their love and respect for the staff. We saw several former students return to the ceremony to be a part of the special occasion and watched as they accepted hugs from Dan and the staff like a member of any close family.

All of our kids and their circumstances are unique, but I highly recommend giving CTA consideration for your child’s educational and social-emotional needs.
